Just as predicted the future for this Gravato is promissing. As well as the Gravato Red from 2004 it will certnainly be deleiting lots of people. A slight touch different from the 2004 is the wood, it was used french oak and american oak medium toast.

Without any alterations to it's original image here as well some touches were given, because it's our strong believe that we'll always have space to improve. The evolution of this wine is, at the moment , slightly above the 2004, we'll see if it's going to have the same recognishment from both critics and consumers.

During the ARRIBE awards in Spain, competing with wines from Douro, Ribera del Duero, Rioja and other Wine regions, the GRAVATO was the only wine from Beira Interior bringing "home" a medal.

Very concentrated on the colour. Intense aroma, customized, with wild fruit, smoked well measured with a mineral trace. Very well on the flavour, filled with freshness and tension without losing track of flexibility. Mineral, authentic and firm, with a fine ending, yet showing the non conformism of its youth.
