gravato palhete 2005
|
The "reclaiming" of a Palhete, thus could be entitled the description made here. To say to buy the book was therefore suspicious. |
We mark the fact that over 2000 wines were tasted. Try and make your own conclusions. To see what a good "Palhete" does click on the front of the book. |
|
This is a Palhete different from all others. Its even more noble and more distant from all other palhetes with the addiction of the Touriga Nacional and with the replacement of the Rabigato for the Síria. Lighter and better, these are the keys words to this wine. |

In the version of 2005 we can find more lightness and fruit definition than it's preceding year. With the cherry in a pure state, an attractive state which articulates freshness and floral. In the mouth it's fresh, tuned by an aromatic expression that captivates in the long finale, slightly branded by brave tannins. This is the description made of a wine considered by this same book as discovery of the year.

"Different wine which is a surprise. The colour is between the light ruby and dark rose and the aroma is a finding like fresh cherries, raspberries and at the same time floral with herbal notes. In the mouth it's fresh a full, but all the attentions draw inevitably to the tannin and to the long and dry finish which gives him a surprising structure. It's a multifaceted wine which you can taste with cheeses and entries like peppers salad with bacon, fishes like cod with tomato a the fish rice with peppers or even meats like the rabbit. Recipies that you can find in this TeleCulinária." |

"Good intensity in the ruby colour. Primal aromas, showing the main, with the strawberries and raspberries. Very subtle herbs that suits him well but keeping the simplicity. Correct. Light on the body, plain in the structure, very simple and fresh, where it doesn't show neither flaws nor attributes. Lovely, appealing and predictable." |
